Sam Clyde, a native of Georgetown, Pennsylvania decided to relocate to Cleveland, Ohio after accepting a baseball scholarship to Cleveland State University. He graduated with honors and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology & Biomechanics and later went on to earn a Master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. Upon graduation Sam pursued a career in human performance as a strength and conditioning coach. He made coaching stops with the Cleveland Indians, the University of Kentucky, and the University of Cincinnati. He became a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the NCSCA and Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified through the CSCCa. Sam has coached and mentored hundreds of division I and professional athletes over the years. Through this experience, he realized that his true passion is working with people and helping them identify and reach their goals.
After moving back to Cleveland in 2011, Sam was introduced to the world of home building and took a position at one of the nation’s largest builders as a Project Manager. Instead of assisting athletes, Sam was fulfilling his passion by guiding families as they navigated through one of the most crucial decisions of their lives, the construction of their new home. Through Sam’s innate abilities to motivate and build relationships, he was able to successfully coach contractors and manage complex job sites. His effective communication skills, attention to detail and incredible work ethic made him a rising star in the industry overseeing the completion of nearly 100 homes. He earned rookie of the year in 2012 and was ranked within the top 10 Project Managers in the country. Metrics were based on house quality, days under construction, cost management, and most importantly, customer service.
After three successful years as a Project Manager, Sam decided to take his talents to the world of sales & marketing and realized he had discovered his niche. His personal skills, coaching experience, and construction knowledge led to major success in new home sales.
In 2016, Sam joined Cleveland Custom Homes (CCH) where he was hired as the Sales & Marketing director. It was not only the freedom of a custom home builder that appealed to Sam, but the philanthropic aspect of this generous company. CCH is extremely involved in giving back to the community, specifically the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where they have constructed the St. Jude Dream Home for the past four years. In that time they have raised over $8,000,000 to support the fight against childhood cancer and other childhood diseases.

Sam and his beautiful wife reside in Willoughby Hills with their two daughters. When Sam is not spending time with his family, he enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, trail running, and all around physical fitness.
