My wife and I did it! We came to Northeastern Ohio so she could work at the Cleveland Clinic, and so we could live on the shore of Lake Erie. Having previously lived in Chicago, New York City, Washington D.C., Columbus, and Cincinnati, we noticed that Cleveland lakefront propertycompares quite favorably to the price and quality of waterfront real estate near other major cities. So after extensively studying the Cleveland real estate market, we purchased a lakefront home in Rocky River.

I grew up in Chicago’s western suburbs and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Chicago. I traded stock options on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange before going east to earn a law degree at New York University. While I practiced law for some time in Chicago, I enjoyed our Cleveland home search so much that I decided to get an Ohio real estate license.
